Overview
High schoolers Mitsuha (Mone Kamishiraishi) and Taki (Ryunosuke Kamiki) are two total strangers living completely different lives until Mitsuha makes a wish to leave her mountain town for the bustling city. The next day, Mitsuha vividly dreams she is a boy in Tokyo while Taki dreams he is a girl in the country. With gaps in their memories, the two realise these dreams are more real than they first thought and without ever actually meeting they strike up a connection to get to the bottom of their mysterious body-swapping situation.
