Overview
Remember the old Elvis films where he has long musical dance numbers? No? Well that's okay, the creators of Airplane! and The Naked Gun series have recreated them here with a very young and incredibly committed Val Kilmer. Top Secret! is a deeply silly riff on spy dramas starring Kilmer as dashing American rock star Nick Rivers, on tour in East Germany when he falls for the beautiful Hillary (Lucy Gutteridge). Nick falls in with an underground resistance movement fighting against the dreaded East German High Command, and together they attempt to stop Hillary's father before he's forced to complete the ultimate super weapon that will doom the world. No bit is too dumb, no sight gag too intricate and no joke too corny.
